My only criticisms about UE is that it doesn't have much ambiance, it can get very noisy when busy (which is most of the time), parking is limited during peak hours, and the staff is not very friendly. And for the quality and quantity of what you get, their prices are reasonable. I prefer to stick with their fantastic sandwiches. They serve up excellent pizza as well, but it's on the thick side.if you prefer thin crust, UE's pizza is probably not for you. Trust me, you won't leave this place hungry.the sandwiches are huge! Try anything with eggplant! The Louisiana Locksmith (hot battered eggplant, lettuce, red onion, tomato, thinly sliced ham, melted mozzarella cheese & mayo on delicious homemade bread) is my favorite. UE offers a delicious selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza and desserts. As they say, "You don't have to love eggplant to love this place." However, I love eggplant, and I love this place! Undercover Eggplant is my go-to restaurant when traveling to Oneonta on business.
